What
would you think about drastically slashing your
electricity bill every month? If you're thinking
using renewable energy sources might be a way
to do that, you're on the money!
Each and every day we bypass what is a tremendous
source of free power for us all - the sun and
the wind. You might think it's too expensive,
but this in depth instruction manual and guide
will show you why it's not.
This DIY guide will hold your hand through the
process of building your own 60 - 120 watt solar
panel, all for under $200. In fact, you could
do it for as little as $27 if you took the time
to join broken cells together (which isn't hard).
This is what Kim in Sidney had to say:
I was looking to purchase a few retail solar
panels for my home but after looking at the price
of them it just made sense to build my own.
After going through your materials I managed
to build 2 solar panels for under $100! They are
just small panels but this is all I need for the
lighting and fridge in my courtyard.

And Carl in Ontario:
Hey Guys. Thanks for the solar info. I made
a solar panel like you said by using 36 cells
in series. My panel produces just over 18 volts
which is exactly what I was after. Anyway, keep
up the good work. This is great stuff. I have
actually told a few work mates about this and
we are going to build solar panels and sell them
for a neat profit. I will let you know how that
goes too!

Do you live in a location that has enough wind
to generate electricity? You can learn how to
build a wind turbine for as little as $100. This
turbine can power any type of electronic device
in your house. It's convenient and easy and a
lot of fun to build. You can do it with your family
over a weekend.
